Written by Jonathan Rosenthal
Japanese episode written by Yasuko Kobayashi
Additional material directed by Akihiro Noguchi
Directed by Peter Salmon

Summary: Serrator sends Nighlok Skarf to eat, eat, eat all that he can and explains that his true powers will be unlocked after he is destroyed. Kevin sees a poster of the Regional Finals Swimming Championships. He misses his dreams of being a swimmer. Kevin bumps into a swimmer who recognizes him. The swimmers are upset that Kevin quit the team. Skarf unknowingly eats Kevin’s Samuraizer. Dayu finds Deker’s broken sword Uramasa. Serrator was the one who created the sword. Serrator offers Dayu a deal to fix her Harmonium and Deker’s Uramasa. Dayu finds Deker still alive. Deker explains that his sword Uramasa and its power took the damage for him and he survived, and for his curse to be broken, his ultimate battle must end without Uramasa being broken.

Kevin watches his friends practice. Noah’s leg cramps during his lap. Kevin jumps in to help him. His team doesn’t know why Kevin left them. The Rangers discover that Kevin’s Samuraizer is in Skarf’s arm. Dayu and Deker attack the Rangers to keep them busy while Skarf eats. Skarf becomes full, so Dayu and Deker defeat him, but Red Super Samurai Ranger slices Skarf’s arm off and retrieves Kevin’s Samuraizer just in time before exploding. Skarf returns as a MegaMonster and his true powers are revealed. Kevin joins the Rangers. They form the Samurai Gigazord and destroy Skarf.

Kevin watches his swimming team at the competition. He notices that Noah’s leg is cramping, so Kevin decides to take his place for them, and their team wins.
